Thank you for your interest in Fire & Ice.  We are sorry to report, due to location issues, we will be taking this year off from hosting the festival.   

 

Can minors be admitted without a parent?

No unaccompanied minors will be admitted to this family event.

Where will parking be available and what does it cost?

Parking will be available on-site, and in parking areas set up along Archer Road.  Parking is FREE!

Do you have any VIP or UPGRADED tickets available?

Yes, and our VIP packages include all sorts of perks, freebies, select line passes, etc.  Please see our ticket page for details.

Can we bring fireworks?

Due to the safety of all our guests, fireworks cannot be brought to the event.

What type of food will be available?

We will have a variety of vendors selling pizza, wings, hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, drinks and more.

Will there be restroom facilities?

We will have multiple restroom facilities available.  On-site facilities are located near the vending area.  Portable units are also being delivered for the event.

Are we allowed to bring our own food/beverages?

Yes, you can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages.

How much are tickets?

Regular tickets range from $10 – $15, plus 1 food donation per person. Children two years and younger are allowed free entry.  We are also offering VIP tickets that come with perks, such as special seating, VIP parking, a private snow pit and more.  Ticket prices are on a tiered system and do increase leading up to the day of the event.  We encourage everyone to purchase early.

Where do we bring our food donation?

You can bring your food donations to the entrance, where we will have a truck to load them into.  Last year, we raised over 4,000 pounds of food which went a long way to help children in need.

How much of the ticket sales will be donated?

100% of all the revenue generated goes to the Flourish Children’s Foundation who then funds the 2 charities selected for this years event.   The best part about this event is that most of our event expenses have also been donated to help the cause, which means even more money can be donated.

Will there be ATMs on site? 

No, sorry.

Will vendors be able to accept debit/credit cards?

Please bring cash for all purchases.

Will there be any additional costs other than the ticket?

Most of the attractions are free with entrance.  However, we do have a few premium activities that are additional.  This includes the rock wall and bungee trampoline.  The other additional costs will be for food/beverages as well as any merchandise you wish to purchase.

Can I leave The Festival and re-enter without paying?

Yes.  Re-entry will be permitted as long as you have your wristband.

Can we bring pets?

No pets are allowed except for service animals.

Are the tickets refundable?

We apologize, but due to the nature of the event we cannot offer refunds.  All the the event expenses will be non-refundable so we cannot refund ticket sales due to any cancelations or rain checks.

Where is it located?

The event is located at the local YMCA Sports Facility on 9315 SW Archer Road Gainesville, FL 32608

What are the driving directions?

Take SW Archer Road (S.R. 24) West from the Tower Road (SW 75th Street) intersection.  The event is approx 1 mile down on the left.
